Queen Mary 2 fireworks display
 
On the 17th of February the Queen Mary 2 will arrive in Aucklands harbour at approximately 6:45pm. She will be the biggest ship of any type to come to New Zealand- The Queen Mary 2 weighs 151, 400 Ton and can carry up to 3090 passenges.
The Queen Mary 2 is to large to berth st Aucklands main Princess Wharf Cruise Terminal, so the ship will instead berth at Jellicoe Wharf.
The 1.1Million dollar ship will be led in to the harbour by fireboats shooting sea water from cannons and will have an entourage of smaller boats.
She will be welcomed with a traditional contingent of Maori warriors at the Wharf. The Departure of The Queen Mary2 at approximately 10:30pm will celebrated with a fireworlks display our Aucklands Harbour.
