 Auckland City

The Auckland region is split up into four cities Auckland, Manukau, North Shore and Waitakere; and three districts Franklin, Rodney and Papakura.

Auckland City sits in the centre of the region. It covers an area of 60 kilometers squared.

Close to the heart of Auckland city is Auckland Domain. In this great park there is Fernery, Winter Garden and also the war memorial museum.

Dove-Myer Robinson Park is renowned for its rose gardens is not too far from the Domain. This park extends on to Judges Bay and there is a historic church called St Stephans Church.

Surrounding One Tree Hill is Cornwall Park. It is a great park to take families out to where everyone can have lots of fun. There are so many great photo oppertunities in this park also as there is volcanic stone walls, avenues
of oak trees, a kauri plantation and dozens of pretty walkways.
