Turoa & Whakapapa Ski Fields Set to Open Next Month on Mt. Ruapehu

ruapehu.jpg Mount Ruapehu Ski Fields are set open 16 June 2007.Â

Currently there is zero snow on both fields, (the Turoa Alpine cafe area looks like a desert still) but with the temperatures set to drop in the next few weeks we’re all praying for some serious snow!

OK, so this is not really Auckland related content, but so many of us Aucklanders love skiing and snowboarding that we thought it might be relevant!

We’ll keep posting as the season lures closer
