Ski Season for Turoa & Whakapapa Update
Don’t get excited, this is a photo from last season!!
Both fields are still set to open 16 June 2007, with opening events booked for both slopes.
Looking at the mountain, it will be surprising if there’s enough snow even on the upper mountain for opening as both base camps still look bare.
Snow however is forecast for the coming week, and with 3 weeks or so still to go, hope is not lost!
