The Second Auckland Art Fair is a three-day event beginning May 18 2007.
The event is to showcase New Zealand, Pacific Island and Maori art, and to put Auckland on the map for the visual arts.

An exhibition called “A Lighter Touch is on display in the Auckland Art Gallery until mid 2007.
This exhibition contains some of the 19th and 20th centuries favourite peices of European art, when art was seen as moving towards a ‘lighter’ subject matter.
