ASB Polyfest

Between 21-24 March secondary school culture groups come together for Polyfest. The schools perform songs and dance routines in Maori, Samoan, Tongan, Cook Island or Niuean.

Each different has its own stage making the event a true showcase for the cultural diversity of the Auckland region.

Polyfest is held at the Manukau Sports bowl and will be a great event to watch.

Auckland Festival 2007

Auckland Festival, AK07 is the must-attend international arts festival for 2007. It is happening from March 9th till 25th.

The festival includes more than 60 events with dance, music, theatre ,cabaret, a free outdoor music & film season and visual arts programme. The festival is aimed at encouraging friends an families to enjoy a diverse range of culture and arts from the Pacific Islands, New Zealand and beyond.

On February 24th enjoy a three hour long concert at the Auckland Domain. There will be Symphonic, operatic and rock music playing for all to listen and enjoy.

This concert has become one of the leading concerts under the stars as it features some of New Zealands leading talent.

The Starlight Symphony will start at 7:45pm and will finish at 10:30pm.

There will also be young singers with her and an 80 piece Auckland Symphony Orchestra, Conducted by Gary Daverne. It is a Charity concert and is to be held on the Matakana Coast.

Fall Out Boy is playing live in concert on March the 5th at TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre, 770 Great South Road, Manukau, Auckland.

The Concert was not originally at this venue but has been moved because there has been a huge demand to see the concert.

It is an all ages concert and the doors open at 7:15pm.
